The University advisers are available to provide confidential counseling assistance to students. Students experiencing a variety of concerns may find this service helpful to them. Assistance can be provided to assist students with problems, concerns, and experiences relating to educational difficulties; i.e. study habits, unusual test-taking stress, lack of motivation, or attitudes related to University.

The Academic Advising Center serves students who seek advice and information concerning general education requirements, electives, the University rules and regulations, graduation requirements and academic probation.

PPIU advisers are available to assist students in personal assessment of career interest, values, and abilities to identify possible career directions related to a major area of study. Services also include facilitating the campus interview program, providing job vacancy information to students, responding to employers' requests for referral of qualified job applicants, assisting with resume and interview preparation, and sending placement credentials to employers.particular courses.
